Christmas Blessings

Giving back has become more important than ever. With a poor economy and lost jobs it is vital that we lift one another up when we can. Simple good deeds can brighten someone’s day. A smile or reassuring touch can help to turn someone’s life around. So often in the beauty industry you find the ability to make a life better simply by showing that you care. Being an Aesthetician, Reiki Master and a Weight Loss Coach has led me to so many hurting souls that are just looking for a little reassurance and more importantly love.
People really seem to open up when they are in a spa atmosphere. Perhaps it is the overall feeling of finally having a safe place to fall and a nonjudgmental listening ear. This past month I have had the great pleasure of helping a number of new clients find their way to a healing new start and feel very blessed that they trusted me enough to let me in. One of these brave souls came in just to visit the day of our re-grand opening far before the festivities were to begin. This beautiful soul was struggling and simply needed to talk and let it all out. I found myself sitting on the floor at her feet as she wept and did my best to comfort her and let her know she was not alone. Her dilemma was….she just wanted to be loved. This woman who I had never seen in this light has been a pillar of strength her entire life going through child birth, a bitter divorce and several life events that I have never thought of happening in this region. This one fragile and beautiful soul opened my eyes that night to the fact that we are all hurting in some way shape or form and how one life can be transformed by love. Love is the perfect gift for every occasion. No bow, no long lines and no receipt required. Never expires and is the only gift that you ever want returned. Love has no language barriers and can be expressed in so many ways. Donating to your favorite charity, packing a note of encouragement in your child’s lunch bag, a hug, a smile or my favorite…random compliments to all of those around me! Best of all…you can feel free to give generously as it never runs out. What an inspiring thought! You never know what kind of difference you can make unless you try.
Bless you all this Christmas and make sure to let those around you know that they are a precious gift as are you!
Many Blessings!
